This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and protect your data on gelaform.com, in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Bio-Gestion SA is the controller of your data.

2. What data do we collect?

We may collect the following data:

Identification data: surname, first name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number
Browsing data: IP address, browser, pages visited, length of visit
Order data: delivery and billing addresses, purchase history. Payment data is processed by Shopify Payments or, if you choose this payment method, by Klarna: we never see your card numbers.
Customer reviews: your name, your rating and your comment, if you publish a review
Newsletter: your e-mail address and your consent to receive our e-mails

When you browse gelaform.com (cookies, according to your choices in the consent banner)
Through the order, contact and newsletter sign-up forms
Through the reviews you publish about our products
By e-mail or telephone when you contact our team

4. Why do we use your data?

We use your data for the following purposes, each based on a legal ground:

Processing, delivering and tracking your orders; managing your customer account (performance of the contract)
Sending our newsletter and offers (your consent, which you may withdraw at any time)
Answering your enquiries (performance of the contract or legitimate interest)
Improving our website and services (legitimate interest; consent for non-essential cookies)
Complying with our legal and tax obligations (legal obligation)

5. Who do we share your data with?

Your data is never sold to third parties. It may be passed on only to the following service providers, strictly for the purposes of their task. All these providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may use your data only for the purposes for which it was passed on to them:

Shopify – hosting of the online shop, payment processing (Shopify Payments), sending order e-mails and the newsletter
Klarna – payment, if you choose this payment method (Klarna may then process your data as a separate controller, under its own privacy policy)
Colissimo (La Poste) – delivery of your parcels
Judge.me – publication of customer reviews

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in Switzerland, where Bio-Gestion SA is based. These transfers are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (as is the case for Switzerland) or by standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to function (basket, security) and, with your consent, to analyse our traffic and improve your experience. You can manage your preferences at any time through the consent banner shown on the website.

Cookies are kept for a maximum of 13 months.

7. Retention period

Order data: 10 years (legal obligation)
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
Contact data without an order: 1 year from the last contact

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The version in force is the one published on gelaform.com. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by e-mail if you subscribe to our newsletter.
